Monster 1 LE

Took delivery of my 2018 ZL1 1 LE with redline Motorsport stage 4 upgrades. 875hp at rear wheels. Black on Black, Whipple charged, meth injected, insane power. The car is an absolute monster

Welcome to the forum, and enjoy the ride. Looks sweet. In addition, looks like you have tb, cai, pulleys...maybe a list of mods and dyno when you get a chance.

The most important question - does it have the launch issue or did it get successfully tuned out? Killer car, by the way.

I haven't launched it too hard yet, but it hooks ok if you don't abuse it off the line. The only downside is when the tires are cold, it will try to get loose on you with heavy throttle input through 3rd gear.

I compare it to the Z06 we had with the Z07 package, cold tires don't hook period.

When it does break loose, it is fairly predictable, and requires subtle wheel input to keep it straight, peddle the gas, and feed it right back in.

It is an absolute ball to drive, from the sound of the cam, to the blower whine, to the fact that it puts you in your seat harder than anything Ive ever driven. We currently have a whipple charged GT 350 R, a hell cat charger and a few Euro Trash vehicles, the 1LE is bar far the most aggressive and fun at the same time.

I misread that I think, if you are referring to the factory tune that won't break the tires loose, then hell yeah, that has been tuned out.

WHIPPLE Superchargers 2.9 Liter Positive Displacement Supercharger
1 7/8” Long Tube Stainless Steel Headers
Off Road 3” Mid-section with X pipe
Redline Custom Profiled Roller Camshaft (specs are required for build)
Redline Dual Valve Springs with Titanium Retainers, locks and keepers
Comp Cams Trunnion Roller Upgrade (removes needle bearing from stock rockers)
Manley One piece Stainless Steel “Extreme Duty” Exhaust Valves
.080” Chromoly Pushrods
Billet DOD Delete Package (New Lifters, lifter trays, modified valley cover)
MLS Head Gaskets, ARP Head Bolts
Methanol Injection System Twin Nozzle
Custom E92 Engine Calibration

This is the Stage 4 Package from Redline. Those guys were amazing to deal with and the quality of their work is amazing. We have had several cars built and tuned by many of the "top" mod shops, and I put their work in the same category as Lingenfelter, and better than the Hennesey cars we have had.
