Considering Stepping up to a 2017 Z06

I am considering stepping up to a zo6 because there are some great deals out there 1lz around 72k I let my z51 go because I thought I was gonna take a hit financially but turned out it was a false alarm and I'm in a good position.

I was looking at the grand sport cause I love the body than thought to myself 12k more for a zo6 1lz 2017* found a GS for 58.5.

without the zo7 how does it handle on track, I'm a decent track driver that knows when to hold back not a lead footed guy . This is a manual.

will 2017 have better heat exchangers?

I'm between the GS, Zo6, or maybe a Zl1, I just love the corvette tho so I think I'm ruling out the camaro. nothing beats the top off of a vette and that sound system.

Please give me the good the bad the ugly as it pertains to the GS AND z06

also I think the z06 would hold value up pretty nicely over the next three years 36k.
