Haha I actually use that on my Audi. In Portland city limits the speed limit on the interstates is 50mph and my brain can't process that as a valid interstate speed limit which leads to tickets regularly. Outside the city I just ignore the warnings.

Well the verdict is in. You must order the data recorder if you order nav for $1,795. Forcing most people to spend $1,000 for something they'll never use and would have passed on.

Well I will say it again, the Nav in the C7 - 15 is the same price as the Nav in all C6s and is a better unit plus it has PDR which you can use on the track or use on the street, if you were at the Bash they showed 3 examples of use one being street. Further more the A8 is more than the A6 and you don't have a choice. I am sure it will be a resale advantage over a 14.

I 've driven 1,600 miles in 4 days and the Nav in my 2014 has been fine. Some websites will have you believe they will not work at all...(results may vary disclaimer) For $795 okay.....$1,000 more for a data recorder.....yikes!

I only have the nav because it came on the 3LT. I shut that woman up before I was very far down the road toward my home.

Seriously, I use my phone.

If they made an awesome iphone dock you might not need nav. The smart phone will always be more current than the factory nav. The built in is always cleaner.

This assumes you have working nav on your phone which rules out iPhones and many android phones

I believe the Nav is worth $795 on '14 1LT/2LT models... I really like it now that I have it. So my question is if PDR is worth that extra 1K premium for '15 1LT/2LT models? I hope so.

I have anLT-3 so the nav was part of it. I have had nav in several of my cars including Lexus and Mercedes. The one in the Vette is by far the BEST! It is easy to use, I like that it comes up in the heads up display. Also, I have the Sirius weather and traffic and that shows up as well. It is really cool when you look at the map (in 3-d) and it is showing the weather conditions. Also, when you go to the weather feature, you see the radar maps. Living in Florida and wanting to know where the storm is coming from is important.
