And to add... that RS6 Avant won't even hit the US shores at all. This writer's comparison is beyond apples to oranges... it's like apple pie to pommes bahnschranke.
Only thing in common is that they're both types of food but totally different.

Yeah. Not quite sure what Quattro was thinking when they made that statement. The 'Vette is so much lighter than the RS6 Avant, so it'll probably enough to overcome the power discrepancy. The only place(s) Quattro will rule is traction, and (maybe) the interior. But otherwise, the 'Vette has it.

My cousin's Audi spent more time in the dealer's service bay than in his garage.

it's a very odd comment because they aren't even competitors.

My guess is the competition is other two seater sports cars costing more than twice the price of the Stingray

EDIT: This could also just be the starting point for knocking out other powerful fourseaters, and then the beloved Z06 will bath in pools of blood from the HIGH end two seaters.

Did Chevrolet finally hit a nerve? The newer, more aggressive Corvette has made someone worry that it is coming into their more expensive space. I love seeing luxury brands sweat.

I totally agree, The_Blur. You can tell Audi's worried just because of what they've said.

Jealousy comes from competition.

Competition promotes development.

Great to see that the Stingray is pressuring markets that used to look at the corvette as a disgusting american car.
