This would include the entire drivetrain, roll cage, fuel system, suspension, etc... This is a rough guesstimate...

Bare in mind, I'm on the third motor, 6th transmission iteration, 2nd diff, third clutch, third driveshaft, turbos number 7 & 8, third cam, second set of custom hand made turbo manifolds, etc... Like I said, knowing what I know now...

Also keep in mind driving around with 1500 hp all the time is silly and wasteful... That requires high boost levels and race fuel... Turn the boost controller off, sit on the waste gate springs, and drive around with say 800 - 900 rwhp on pump fuel... JMO...

Keep in mind this is a functional fast car, not a cosmetically driven car... It's rough and noisy... not even close to unacceptably so to me, but others would not like it possibly... racecar... It's a street legal racecar...

Rotating assembly short block, 15-20K 6 bolt block ALUMINUM... not cast iron.... Darton sleeves
Heads, LSA, less than 6-7 grand depending on valves and who ports them...
Turbo manifolds, 2-3 grand
Transmission, 7 grand
Clutch, 3500
Differential kit 6 grand
Roll cage, 2500-5000 grand
Turbo kit, as it is now... from scratch... 10-15 grand
Exhaust system, 1500
Engine management 5 - 7 grand
Suspension... you know better than I Pete...

Someone to reliably put it all together and make it work.... Priceless....

My entire build has been a test build... Lets see what works and what doesn't... I've been fine with that... and we have pushed the envelope at every stage... MY personal call.... racecar....

Corey has been a God send, he reels me in when he needs to, but every push it to the limit decision has been mine and I have no problem making that call....

Last October, I knew the heads were sketchy... stock cast LS3 heads... ported to the inth... we were pushing water at 18 lbs of boost... had new heads being ported at Lozano Brothers, so I wasn't concerned with them... We went 197.8 on boost alone, and it was my decision to turn on the bottles and heat em up...less than a mile later, well, it was time for new motor and heads... Again, my call... I lifted a head, blew out the head gasket and my goofy self didn't lift right away... I really thought it wasnt the motor as the car was still pulling... Wont ever make that mistake again...

None of the above costs include labor other than maybe the porting and rotating assembly and that depends on who builds it.... Lozano Brothers will build a motor to fit my needs, just the rotating assembly, for say 30 grand... If I sweet talk them...

No shipping is included, nor tuning etc

Also, there are several thousand worth of other misc items in a build of this magnitude... fuel lines hrdware of various different types, etc... It all adds up, but with a clean sheet, I think I could replicate her for 150K or less...

By doing it once and right the first time... Corey, Rob,Justin and Allan have taught me bunches about this car.... turbos, boost etc.... and then the other day Bull F-16 put it in plain english where even my goofy self can understand it.. he just keyed me in with the right words...

It's been fun, tons of fun... and I'll keep pursuing my goals with it... If someone made me the right offer, I'ld sell her and start over... The right price isn't what I've spent to date, but rather what it would take to replace her.....

Also.... Window tint, an extra hood for racing and my blade spoiler are my only cosmetic mods, other than the wheels and tires....

Cosmetics are supplied by GM... with a great looking car... and cosmetics dont make it go fast.... Grills and side skirts and wings look good on some cars.. but they are shrapnel when they fly off the car in excess of 200 mph.... My blade spoiler comes off, as do the rear view mirriors for the mile... I don't need the down force or to see whats behind me at that event... and no one can tell me if the spoiler would stay on the car at those speeds, plus it would be too much wind resistance...

I'd say either the owner or service tech are on drugs.

To each his own. But for $380,000, I know what I would do....

Nissan GT-R: $100,000 (give or take) OR Corvette Stingray
AND
Lexus LS460 (used, maybe 2012) $50,000

The other $230,000 would go to one nice family vacation and college funds for the 3 kids.

Don't know why you would assume the service department keeps track of inventory? They service the cars not sell them.

Still seems like less than 200k. Where did the other 180k go?
I would strongly question this information... I made just over 1400 rwhp with 24 lbs of boost, no spray, and I'm betting bigger and more efficient turbos than are on this "380,000" build...

I'm seriously doubting this guy has any where near half that money in the car... Or.... The builders are heading into retirement as we read all this... Cause someone got seriously screwed...
