Agree. But so is the C7Z.... especially when compared to the massive downforce of the Viper, the Z06 was just a tenth or so behind for the fastest lap time.

IMO that's quite impressive just as well.

I seriously don't understand how the Vette doesn't win all these comps. For the price you can't have more fun. Especially the comps where cars twice it's price point win. Sorry I'm biased, but if you handed me $100,000+ I'd buy a Vette (or Viper) over all those cars.

Seems the novelty and newness of the Mustang won over the voters. Glad an American car "won" but this test is your average road and track subjective type thing. The Viper and Vette were clearly the better as tested by numbers.

Think what the Gen 6 is going to test at.....

I imagine price and preference are factors. If it were just about lap times why write an article at all? Just list the lap times. The 350R is very fast for the money. Personally, I'd take the Merc.

A ZL1 would still beat the GT 350R. And after reading how in comparison after comparison the Gen 6 SS DESTROYS the Mustang GT. I cant wait to see what the results will be when GM unleashes the Gen 6 ZL1.

What he said ^ if it was just going to be about the numbers why bother driving them on the road and getting a feel for them? If you just looked at stats they don't tell the whole story.

I think the Gt350R deserves the win based on price, and uniqueness. But I think this puts to rest that it's a competitor with the z06.
