My guess is they're anticipating that on the race gas timing map and on the DR's, in the right air, it could hit sub 10's. If a car is running the 1/4 in the 10.2X-10.4X in normal conditions it's not unreasonable to expect a potential for dipping into the single digits. |

Man why all the hate? These Dodges are really cool and over the top. They put the muscle in muscle cars. And they look great.
So what if they are two generation old Mercedes platforms. Not everyone wants a small "sports" car that is hard to see out of without a usable back seat or a pony car seen in almost every driveway. I wish I had a bigger pocket book, a four car garage and a more generous CFO. Can't wait to see the new Dodge at Atco and hope for a manual so we all have a chance.

Good stuff on the hard parts. Gives me some ideas to upgrade my rear diff which is still stock in my Challenger. It's about the only thing left stock and we're all shocked it hasn't exploded yet LOL.
VERY glad it's not AWD. That's not what this car is for. I hope they figure something out on the fender flares. BTW, that's a bolt in harness bar, not a roll bar of any kind. My buddy designed it and it's been around a while. Dodge just badged it with Demon logos. |

They simply do not have the r&d like GM has and it's showing more and more everyday. The longer they continue to extend platforms instead of replace them, the worse it will get. Most FCA vehicles sell on price and styling. That has been the Achilles heel of Dodge for as long as I can remember. I have never owned a Chrysler vehicle that I didn't regret purchasing soon after. |

Bahama is late, so I'll post it for him:
I see 750 on the dyno screen near the end, but those SRT power gauges are not accurate to begin with. Have seen several 500s on Scat Pack/SRT392 cars.

Thanks.
125 mph at the 1/8 and only gaining 4 mph through the 1/4? Does that sound right? 0-60: 3.0 sec 0-100: 6.9 sec 1/8 ET: 6.4 sec 1/8 MPH: 125 mph 1/4 ET: 10.5 sec 1/4 MPH: 129 mph Last edited by BahamaTodd; 03-09-2017 at 09:10 AM. |

You have to give credit where credit is due, they are pulling out all the stops. A race cool down feature. Kudos to them.

Yea just noticed that. Well if you look at the 0-100 timer being on 6 secs, the 1/8 should be more like 105-110mph range. Proof they are "editing" the pics to show data. But I don't doubt the 1/4 numbers.

What would new ZL1 do with similar tires, drag shock setup, front skinnies, on a prepped track?

Another riddle. I really hope they give us the answer sheet to all these math problems at the end of the test
