I'm slated for a Stingray at Boardwalk. Thanks for the referral to Tim. Should take delivery, conservatively, end of November!

Thanks! I'm in the area, so it's nice to deal locally and I appreciate the reference. I hope you guys go forward with your vette purchases from there. If not, would be cool to somehow get your seat on the allocation list as I'm sure it's better than 34 (although late nov isn't bad)

Hey C7 4 Me, Did Boardwalk mention what kind of allocation they were getting? I talked to 2 of my local dealers they are not even taking deposits to reserve a spot..

I actually just pulled the trigger today and put my deposit down. I went from #33 to #36...so late November to December time frame. Still may cancel depending on a few things, but I wanted my slot now.

Boardwalk told me today they have 68 allocations for the first 6 to 8 months....

Unsure what that is, but it sounds like local microbrew, and you could have yourself a deal! The shitty thing about waiting until november for my car is that I wanted to do museum pickup and drive it back. That's simply not going to happen in november lol - I am NOT putting the stingray through potential winter conditions and salted roads

Am I a traitor if I come over here looking at the Stingray instead of the ZL1? I'm so torn because this Stingray is absolutely gorgeous.

I'd wait until you see them both in person. I haven't had the honor of seeing a Stingray in person yet but I heard that it blows the competition away. The pictures definitely do not do the ZL1 or any 5th gen justice either, but I have a feeling that the C7 will take that to the next level

On the plus side, at least I am familiar with the Camaro, albiet the SS. Thing is, if I get a Stingray, I'd want a convertible, and I'm not sure I can wait that long
