Which R1 rotors?
Slotted? Drilled? Drilled and slotted?
I know drilled could potentially cause some cracks under heavy braking. My car is weekend warrior around NW mountain roads and hope to road course a couple of times this year. No drag racing, not for me. It's time to replace so I want to upgrade, so aside from the looks, is there one I should stay away from based on the above? It was two seconds away from ordering premium drilled and slotted and thought, "hell I should ask for some feedback first". TIA Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just got the R1 premium drilled slotted im replacing my stillen drilled slotted rotors since im upgrading to the ZL1 calipers need bigger rotors, but I have been running them without issues. I do some canyon runs here and there.

My advice as a track enthusiast is If you gonna road coarse keep the big oem blanks and upgrade pads and fluid. Enjoy

We have carried R1 Concept rotors for some time now and I would estimate 95%+ that we sell are slotted and cross drilled. I am not aware of a single case of one of our customers having issues with stress cracks. For a weekend warrior I wouldn't be concerned.
