Every person is different, and I will say that Daily Driving a cammed car is NOT for everyone.

I really enjoy DD'ing mine, but it is a smaller 226/232 on a 112+4. I could have gone bigger with a wider LSA and had similar driveability, but that was not my goal.

I will also say that while I enjoy it, there are times I wish I had another option, albeit that is not very often at all. This will only be my daily for another year or so anyway.

If you are considering it, I suggest you go drive some cammed cars and think long and hard about it. If you really want it, then go for it. You will love it.

Driving with a bigger cam isn't really a problem. Even with the bigger cams drivability really isn't that bad. Only slow parking lot cruising in first gear and light throttle load is affected.

You can also throw some rear end gears in and it will pretty much eliminate any drivability problems. 3.91s + a tuner that knows what he's doing will make you happy.

I went with a TSP 229/236 113lsa it drives like stock on the freeway. Driving in parking lots is a little different but I got used to it after the first day. Its not a problem at all. As long as you know how to use the clutch you will be fine.

I daily drove my Livernois 2c cam for a couple of years before I sold the car. Never was an issue. Very easy to live with in rain, snow, city or highway.

You can always find a cam that'll serve daily driver duty even if you have to get it custom ground to your needs. It may not lope to the point of barely idling like what seems to be popular for some reason. A big chop with little to no vacuum at idle doesn't always equal the best power for any given setup.
