Prob don't want to run a spool on stock axles, esp on the street. I plan on putting a spool in my 1st gen.

I've been told by several people that a spool (and several similar things) are fine on the street. ...and it is - depending on your driving habits, location and style. |

I daily drove my 81 Monte Carlo with a spool in it.. Sure turns heads when your trying to get into a parking spot and the car is scuffing and hopping. I was young and I loved it, but not sure I would want to daily drive one like that anymore.

We have 20 on the shelf, we designed them to run a larger inner stub so you would have to run our axles with the spool.
If you really want one let me know. We would have to make the stubs. A spool has it's place and drives just fine on and off the track. I've broken axles with a spool and nothing happened other then me pulling over to see what went bang and then I jumped back in and drove it on around to the pits because with a spool you can do that Thanks Chris |
