It was fun. But I must say I am glad it is over. It was hot & very tiring. I met my goal of at least making it through the first round. I was pared up with a really fast Camaro but they red-lighted, then proceeded to blow me off the track LOL. The next round they paired me up with a super fast car with his own team. I didn't have a chance but it was fun anyway. I posted up a few more pics & am working on the videos.
Here is one of Ruby just chillin' with frozen bottles of water on her manifold after the drive up & before the first race. It worked too, as that run was my because that first run was my best one of the weekend.

I remember doing that years ago. Dumping ice on top of the engine.

Glad you had a (I guess) great time.

We went looking at a "beater" for my son to use while he acquires more driving skills. Supposedly having 52K original miles, they must of been hard miles, or a "1" is missing from the odometer reading. I wasn't expecting much, but I'd prefer the park pin not be sheeted off. This was among other issues. So we'll keep looking.

My youngest son (22) got a 1LS v6 2014 a couple weeks ago...that car is getting me talking about the old days when I drag raced in the mid-late 70's. Iam a Young fart (57). So my son took me out for a ride and I was impressed with the v6. I said " pull over and let the old man see what this has for sac.,I was going about 5 mph and punched it...got the tires chirping ...banged second with a chirp.....hit third ..and got rubber!!!! He was impressed with the old mans shifting...LOL

Good morning crew. I need a weekend to reas up from my weekend. But it is back to the grind. My dance exercize class will be rough too. We had no class last week and she will try to make up for it this week. I NEED COFFEE! HAGD all.
