Those who have run COTA, please read.
Those that have run COTA have you been allowed passengers? I am planning on running April 25th-26th with Speedventures(Speedventures is out here on the west coast), and i am one of their instructors. This being said, they dont know yet if COTA has any stupid rule about passengers. They wont have an answer for 2 weeks, and i want to get started with what i need to do in the event i can have a passenger.

At a recent HPDE, only the instructor run group could have a non-instructor front seat passenger (at speed). Passenger must be at least 18 and sign a waiver. Of course, all must wear helmet (duh ...).
You will LOVE driving on this track. Make sure you watch F1 replay to see the line - its very similar for non-race cars.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same. Porsche Club of America (PCA) is at COTA often, as is the BMW club. I would check their sites for info on whether passengers can ride.
