Thanks sledge, this made the demount install much easier. I used a drill for everything, much quicker. You didn't say what a PITA installing the grill was.

2nd time now your videos came in handy....nice work. If I had done that barefoot, would have mashed a toe or 2 with a wrench.

The dealer installed my heritage grille but added (left) the plastic pieces behind the two smaller openings. Based on what you've seen with this front end apart does the fascia need to come off for me to remove those pieces? if I do have to take the fascia off I'm glad I watched your video.

Those pieces actually block the air flow into the brake ducts and rear radiators. My instructions didn't say I had to put them on, so I didn't.

My dealer did the same thing, I took it back and had them pull those out. They said they contacted GM Tech and they didn't say those weren't supposed to be there but they did see why they shouldn't be there and took them off. They did need to pull the bumper to take them off.

I'm guessing the full fascia has to come off. Might as well get a lighted bow tie at the same time. |

Thank you so much for posting this video. I'm ordering the SEMA Auto X grille for my RS and want to install it myself.
