Touch screen radio and navigation

My stock radio is now showing lines so instead of replacing under warranty I would like to replace it with a touch screen radio/xm and navigation. Can somebody recommend the best brand available that will replace the radio, navigation (onstar), xm and temp controls. I dont know if the mytouch on 2013 up models are plug and play.

Go into the Audio section of the forum. There are 2 solutions for using an aftermarket head unit: Metra and Scosche have kits to allow you to use any double din stereo. Both have their own specific issues.

A new Android-based solution is available from China which comes with factory-looking HVAC controls: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=314923

Retrofitting a Chevy MyLink is possible. Look in the DIY section:

Yes, Sir. Everything in my ZL1 works. I retained all warning chimes, the back-up sensors, and the OEM back-up camera works with my Pioneer head unit. My steering wheel controls also work. I have Bluetooth, Pandora, Sirius XM, and the Pioneer iPhone 5 interface cable, which charges my phone and mirrors all of my videos to the screen. My head unit is also bypassed so I can watch videos and operate the navigation while my ZL1 is in motion. I installed my system by myself, but I've been installing systems for almost 20 years.

Good for you. Did you have to do any modifications to get it to look right in the dash? I've heard that some people have to grind off some of the plastic inside the dash hole to get the dash kit to fit properly. I really want to do the same thing you did but I tend to screw stuff up so I will have it installed by a local stereo installer.

I have a Scosche kit in my '12 1LT, and it fit just fine with no modifications to the kit or the dash.

It's a complete bolt-in. No cutting or modification.
