No real wiring is needed. The harness plugs into the existing light plug, then the new harness plug goes into the housing. Just make sure you attach the resistor to metal, I used self tapping screws.

I used some thermal adhesive from Amazon. The link is below. It worked well.

How did you remove those orange tabs on the tail lights? There are 2 on each side. Thanks

FYI....if you have the GM smoked tail lights...you do NOT need to remove them from the car. The reverse bulb socket is easily accessible.

if you have regular tail lights, you dont need to remove the housing either. The bulb sockets are easily accessible while installed.

Yup lol
Took me awhile before I figured out what the brackets were for. Thought they were to block access, but they were meant to use as leverage.

I used, and am still using 3M double back tape on the one resistor I used. Holding up fine after about a year. And I drive as much as possible. Bought May 2016, kept in storage from Oct-April, over 19k miles right now.

I LOVE driving this car. Everytime I get behind the wheel, I get wet. ALMOST as good as sex.

We installed a set of our XP80s in the reverse lights along with our new Dark tail lamps courtesy of Phastek Performance:

Still had to run a resistor with our XP80 LED replacements. The output is fantastic (510 lumens / measured)!

Looks good! I went with these bulbs JDM ASTAR 1200 Lumens Extremely Bright 144-EX Chipsets.

Then i bought a set of these resistors E-Projects 25EP5142K20 2.2k Ohm Resistors, 1/4 W, 5% (Pack of 25) and added 1 to each bulb and wallah -
