I'm 27, I am a Systems Engineer at VMware and I have a ZL1... I do not have a degree (yet) but I was in the Marine Corps for 5 years doing IT (COMM 0651) and got out in 2010 and have basically quadrupeled my salary since then by making smart moves from employer to employer. BTW, Im on Camaro #3 since 2012, it is all in how you play the game.

24 here, Systems engineer at VMware as well, 2011 1LT. One day will get the coveted ZL1 but right now focusing on paying for a wedding and purchasing a house with the soon to be wife.

nice! I always wanted to get into software development. I think I would like it alot but not as much as my current job. I work as a Pyrotechnics specialist shooting firework shows at games and special events. The Fireworks company I work for is called A-Rocket Fireworks based out in Pittsburgh PA. The company grows larger every year and are always ready to shoot shows for weddings, sports events, and holidays.

Kinda irrevelant but I'm a junior college student and to anyone who joined/joining the military, do you guys know the chance of dying once say, you are enlisted in Navy/Infantry/Air Force,etc? It's my passion to join the military but I'm kinda undetermined because of the death rate tho.Thanks a lot!

Curious of the ones that "bought" their car actually bought it vs financed it? I think it would be more interesting to hear what types of employment afforded them to purchase their Camaro outright.

I put a small $10k down payment because I am a homeowner & have to drop lots of cash for landscape & interior upgrades. I "financed" the rest of the SS. Plus I like to keep my credit usage ratio in good standing

With auto rates being so low right now, no harm in financing and keeping your cash available for other things like you mention. I financed 50% of my car but plan on paying the rest off within 60 days.

- BTW also a Bank Manager. Mortgage Underwriting to be specific.
