Never heard of that, did your car come with the HUD or you installed it afterwards?

My vette has a mode that shows gs. Since this is a track car, is there a mode that shows the gs? Im not finding it.

Mine did this... for one day and not since. More details in the link below. I had a service appointment but cancelled and decided to wait and see if it became more frequent since I doubt the dealership would replace if they couldn't observe the problem themselves. Some folks are getting replacements.

On some '13s it happens. Mine does, happened twice over 2,500 miles. But it always comes back by restarting the car. Mine will fade in and out and then slowly disappear.

Haven't taken it back to the dealer yet. I would think there is a service bulletin on this.

Mine has done that at least 4 times already in the past 3 or 4 months. I don't usually use the HUD so it does not bother me that much. Let me know if you take it to the dealer and get it fixed but it is weird though. Good luck

Not to hijack the thread, but since everyone is talking about the HUD... The plastic cover recessed in the opening seems to be coming up a little. I can see the reflection of the "threaded edge" when I first get in the car, and I can push it down and it will stay down until I leave the car parked for a while and then it comes back up. Any ideas?

I had the same issue. I took a video of it happening and showed it to my dealer. They replaced my HUD and it has been perfect since. I have the video posted on YouTube if you need it. Go to vjc8341 to view on YouTube.

First day it would come on and fade to off like it was on a timer. Hasn't happened since.

Like others on this thread I'm noticing it happened only once, one driving session. I also see an electronic glitch with the fan. Sometimes the speed number doesn't change. There are some electron demons in here ...
