Yeah, I bet that permagrin is so big it hurts. Mine would be. Maybe now that we have the new huge conention center (& other large venues) we will get some of those auctions here in Nashville one of these days.
Ruby Too got us up early this morning. She started thumping (ala thumper in the Bambi movie) and bumping her door to make noise until Mike got up with her at 5:00 AM. Then I got up & swapped off with him at 6:00 & let him go back to bed. I swear, she is exactly like having a toddler in the house. She has a ton of "toys" around the house (sticks, wood blocks, twine balls, cardboard boxes, towels, etc). Rabbits get bored & are very mischievous. They love to dig, chew & throw things (with their teeth). While I was cooking my breakfast, she was bored & attention seeking. She kept scratching on things shs knows she is not supposed to. Then when I would fuss at her she would run, jump & twist her body in the air showing off that she made me come & pay her attention. I finally had to put her in time out in her room. She is a mess! Well my coffee is finished now & it is time to swap again. I need to shower to get ready to go visit my dad & go to Mike's parent's house for his early birthday dinner (his b'day is the 15th). Have a good Sunday.

Not sure why, but my left ankle hurts. I was on my feet all day, so maybe that's it?
Only took one photo today, just so busy. Plus it looks bad when we are playing with our cell phone, so they say. I drove that Cadillac Allante. Most of the cars I drove today were 30 ' s and 40's cars and trucks. Drove C2, C3, and CJ Ventes including a ZR1. The day went very fast. Only one more day before the auction starts.

Hope your ankle feels better. It only takes stepping a bit unsurely & your foot wobbling a little. Hopefully just tweeked it a bit. Any chance you get elevate it & if it still hurts tonight put some ice or heat on it. If it was hurting when you got up, probably heat (ice the 1st 24 hrs then heat).
We had a pretty nice day yesterday. Visits with daddy are so odd. I just don't know how to have a conversation with him. He gets so confused & says odd things. He asked me if his parents were still living. That was sad. He said "I haven't told anybody but they put me in charge of this whole place". Last week he said some guy came & got him & took him to some huge job site in town where they were going to build something & gave him a job there. I think he has dreams & does not know the difference between dreams & reality. Last week he was walking into his room from lunch when I got there & when I asked if he had a good lunch he said he had not eaten anything anytime lately. He is forgetting how to do basic things like use a knife & fork & wash his hair. Just so sad. But he looks healthy & that is good. We had a nice meal with Mike's parents. Mike's Uncle from California called while we were there saying he had been in the hospital for the past week with apendicitis (sp?). He is like 94 years old & has heart problems so they kept him a little longer than usual. Mike's brother is pretty sick too with a variety of ailments including problems with his lungs & heart. His doctor told him to lose weight or he will die. I guess we are just all getting old & fragile. I am trying to take care of myself. Mike is walking most every day now but I can't get him to eat well. He is a junk food junkie. Oh, well, We can only control ourseles, but I will keep trying to bring him around. Well my breakfast is finished & it is coffee time. Have a good day crew.

Today is Music video Monday, but I don't have a good music vid today. Someone sent me this little article in an email years ago. I have no idea if it's true or not - but I laughed till it hurt when I re-read it this morning. So I'll share it with you here...
Last weekend I saw something at Larry's Pistol & Pawn Shop that sparked my interest. The occasion was our 22nd anniversary and I was looking for a little something extra for my wife, Toni. What I came across was a 100,000-volt, pocket/purse-sized taser. The effects of the taser were suppose to be short lived, with no long-term adverse affect on your assailant, allowing her adequate time to retreat to safety.... WAY TOO COOL! Long story short, I bought the device and brought it home. I loaded two triple-a batteries in the darn thing and pushed the button. Nothing! I was disappointed. I learned, however, that if I pushed the button AND pressed it against a metal surface at the same time; I'd get the blue arch of electricity darting back and forth between the prongs. Awesome!!! Unfortunately, I have yet to explain to Toni what that burn spot is on the face of her microwave. Okay, so I was home alone with this new toy, thinking to myself that it couldn't be all that bad with only two triple-a batteries,... right? There I sat in my recliner, my cat Gracie looking on intently (trusting little soul) while I was reading the directions and thinking that I really needed to try this thing out on a flesh & blood moving target. I must admit I thought about zapping Gracie (for a fraction of a second) and thought better of it. She is such a sweet cat. But, if I was going to give this thing to my wife to protect herself against a mugger, I did want some assurance that it would work as advertised. Am I wrong? So, there I sat in a pair of shorts and a tank top with my reading glasses perched delicately on the bridge of my nose, directions in one hand, taser in another. The directions said that a one-second burst would shock and disorient your assailant; a two-second burst was supposed to cause muscle spasms and a major loss of bodily control; a three-second burst would purportedly make your assailant flop on the ground like a fish out of water. Any burst longer than three seconds would be wasting the batteries. All the while I'm looking at this little device measuring about 5" long, less than 3/4 inch in circumference; pretty cute really and loaded with two itsy, bitsy triple-a batteries) thinking to myself, "no possible way!" What happened next is almost beyond description, but I'll do my best..... I'm sitting there alone, Gracie looking on with her head cocked to one side as to say, "don't do it master," reasoning that a one-second burst from such a tiny little ole thing couldn't hurt all that bad.... I decided to give myself a one-second burst just for the heck of it. I touched the prongs to my naked thigh, pushed the button, and HOLY MOTHER, WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION@!@$$!% !@*!!! I'm pretty sure Jessie Ventura ran in through the side door, picked me up in the recliner, then body slammed us both on the carpet, over and over and over again. I vaguely recall waking up on my side in the fetal position, with tears in my eyes, body soaking wet, both nipples on fire, testicles nowhere to be found, with my left arm tucked under my body in the oddest position, and tingling in my legs. The cat was standing over me making meowing sounds I had never heard before, licking my face, undoubtedly thinking to herself, "do it again, do it again!" Note: If you ever feel compelled to "mug" yourself with a taser, one note of caution: there is no such thing as a one-second burst when you zap yourself. You will not let go of that thing until it is dislodged from your hand by a violent thrashing about on the floor. A three second burst would be considered conservative. SON-OF-A- ... that hurt like hell!!! A minute or so later (I can't be sure, as time was a relative thing at that point), collected my wits (what little I had left), sat up and surveyed the landscape. My bent reading glasses were on the mantle of the fireplace. How did they get up there??? My triceps, right thigh and both nipples were still twitching. My face felt like it had been shot up with Novacaine, and my bottom lip weighed 88 lbs. I'm still looking for my testicles. I'm offering a significant reward for their safe return. Still in shock...

Thanks for the Monday morning laughs! Just dropped my middle son at the airport so he can head back to Marquette University. It's always hard saying goodbye to my kids. I have to remind myself that they aren't kids anymore. Now if we could just get some warmer weather then all would be right with the world.

I shot a few more photos today. VERY busy again. But the auction starts at 2PM AZ time tomorrow, so I may be able to post more photos. Hope everyone is doing well.
I drove the Dreamakers Camaro and the Red Mustang. Fox featured the Mustang. Just found a little downtime.
