Progressive nitrous kit. When you're done, take it off and car will be back to stock.

Trade your Camaro in for a Stingray.
otherwise, admit defeat. There's always someone faster. People get too caught up in the cars and spend too little time thinking about the drivers. Your pop is experienced. You aren't, or you wouldn't be here asking this question in the first place. |

It's seems funny everytime a hellcat vs a ZL1 drag race comes up. The ZL1's average 1/4 mile time comes up but the hellcats average run's are thrown aside and any decent driver's just gonna run a low 11or high 10. There are several Z's on the fast list stock and lightly modded giving hellcats competition. Good luck OP.

In addition to what others have said, you could also try to shed some weight. How far you go depends on how bad you want to win. You may want to do some things like a lightweight battery or forged wheels anyway. For the sake of the bet, you could temporarily remove a whole lot of parts to get your weight down.

Cam and pully. Cam swaps are easy on these cars.

I don't think those cars have plug wires. Just disconnect the coil connectors, mess with the pins a bit, and then you're good to go. Harder to see the problem |
