Lamborghini vs. GTR Fatal Wreck in Florida

Sad story... 2 young people dead, 1 person in critical condition. Not sure what happened here, but sad nonetheless.

"Two people died Sunday in a two-car crash involving a Lamborghini in Lakeland.

Officers from the Lakeland Police Department responded to University Boulevard around 2:54 p.m. and found four people injured and two cars heavily damaged.

The 2008 Lamborghini, driven by Tiffany A. Beene, 24, was headed west on University Boulevard when it crossed over a grass median and into the path of an eastbound 2013 Nissan, police said.

The impact of the wreck scattered debris about 1,000 feet from impact.

Beene, of Kissimmee, and her passenger, Samuel Jonathan Hampton, 24, of Winter Haven, were taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center where they later died from their injuries.

Chi Yan Chan, 43, of St. Petersburg, was the driver of the Nissan and was in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. Passenger Tan P. Phan, 22, of Pinellas Park, was treated and released from the hospital.

Everyone involved was wearing seat belts, according to the Lakeland Police Department.

The crash remains under investigation.

Really random that the Lamborghini randomly crossed the median and hit another super car. It's like one in a million that it would be another super car. Weird and sad

that sucks! From the pictures it looks like a high rate of speed but nothing was mentioned. At the same time two cars traveling towards each other at 75 mph is a high rate of speed. Wonder what happened.

Details are emerging that they may have known each other and it was some type of supercar caravan or cruise. Still very unfortunate. For the Tampa Bay area folks, the lambo owner was just recently at the Dupont Registry's January Cars and Coffee car meet in St. Pete. Seemed like a very nice guy.

Are you sure the lambo owner is a guy? It say's Tiffany was the driver, unless maybe he was letting his girl drive or something. Either way very very sad.
