Well, just as everyone else has said, it's a complete loss. The thing I've noticed from all the crash threads is, this cat not only looks amazing and is amazing, but is one of the safest cars I've ever seen. Good job GM.

wow I'm glad everyone is ok! how fast were you going? and honestly the repairs look like they're going to cost more than the actual cash value of the vehicle. I wish you the best of luck!

not only is your insurance going to murder you, but depending on the damage to the other vehicle they may in fact drop you. and lol on the civic. but at least they're good cars. anyhow, glad your ok, and as others have said, it's totaled. if it were a 35-40k SS then they'd probably fix it, but being a 23k LS that's probably worth 20k I really doubt it.

but way to man up and take responsibility for it. I think everyone's totaled a car or two, or seriously wrecked one. at least anybody who's been driving a while. just try to learn something from it, and let the experience make you a better driver.

Man, that's rough...Like others have said though, most of us have been there too. Bet you'll be watching the road like a HAWK now won't ya? One thing I've learned in nearly 40 years of driving, NEVER, I mean NEVER EVER take your eyes off the road while you are driving a vehicle...Not even for a second...CONCENTRATE when you drive and be aware constantly of everything around you.

Think like a fighter pilot, who has 'situational awareness' of everything around him and is always thinking ahead..If he doesn't, he's dead in the blink of an eye..

Glad you're ok....LEARN FROM THIS!!!!!!

Yep, what they said: Crashing a car is a learning experience. In fact, if there's a silver lining to be found, you now KNOW what the limits of the car are, what it's like to be in a wreck like that, how it all goes down. Many people will never know, but it's all part of the whole learning experience. Not everybody survives... but you did.

I am certain that your skills will be improved from now on, and you find yourself more motivated to focus on the "fighter pilot" skills... and, welcome to the ever- growing club of people who have totaled cars at some point!

Insurance rates just went up a notch for all. You will be able to track your Camaro on IAAI. It will join the other 437 Camaros already there.

On a positive note, the Camaro still looks drivable.

Whoa! That's the most extreme Washer Bottle Relocation Mod I've seen yet, but I think it screwed your aerodynamics...

...glad everyone's OK.
