No I was not looking at trading. I just got done putting a cam in like 4 weeks ago.

GM -and every mfr - takes it very seriously when bags don't go off...you may have some recourse - get a hold of one of those reps here....

I would definitely look into suing the other driver. Looks like he was driving a Deville. I could care less if he could afford to buy me a new Camaro. It was his choice to drive drunk so he has to pay. How about something like $42,000.01

Got all the claim stuff started. The people at the body shop doesn't think it will be totaled( which disappoints me I don't want to have something ill more than likely have problems the rest of the time I have it). But the adjuster is going to call me sometime today and try and come look at it.

Of course the guy was driving a turd.

Airbags deploy only if there is a 35MPH impact. He may have been a little slower than that.

Well atleast u too are good. Dont think I would have handled so well though. I would most likely be sitting in a jail cell for assault. I hope it all works out for u and the drunk has to buy u a shiny new one and pay for a new cam install. Agree on the sue thing. Keep us updated on this curios to know how it turns out
