I own a 2014 c7 stingray with automatic trans........has anyone experienced an exhaust popping sound or small backfire when racing the engine while in park? usually occurs when I let off the gas or just as I reapply acceleration.

Mine does it as well, especially when it's dropping from high RPM. I believe it's fuel that does not ignite until it reaches the exhaust system. From what I've read heard it's pretty normal for these cars unless it's really giving a loud backfire frequently. I'm no mechanic and I'm not an expert so someone more knowledgeable please correct me if i'm wrong.

I personally really like the sound of it.
