The Camaro is absolutely at fault for the road rage and crash result in the video. However, the pickup truck intentionally paced the semi truck to prevent the Camaro from passing. The pickup is now keeping traffic behind him from passing....which is very arrogant.
I'm not supporting the Camaro driver but the crash could've been prevented if the pickup didn't pace the semi truck and just allow the Camaro to pass.

The pickup truck had a car in front of him in left lane. Camaro in right lane attempted to wedge himself between the pickup truck and the car in front of the pickup. Pickup truck sped up to close the gap/distance between himself and car in front.
Fast forward to just before crash. The pickup did not have anyone (that I saw) in front of him. Therefore, and I believe the New York vehicle code states that on a 2 lane divided highway, pass and move over. Clear and convincing evidence on the dash cam shows the pickup driver precipitating this crash from the very beginning...and throughout probably 1 to 2 miles to show him (Camaro driver) who's boss. The truck driver is ultimately at fault. However, the actions of the Camaro driver (being intoxicated at .019 and passing on the right) caused the accident. Prima Facie evidence ultimately rules here wheras, the driver of Camaro was intoxicated and that mere fact will trump the foolish actions of the pickup truck driver.

I agree that the pickup driver was being stupid and a douche... but ONLY after he caught up to the 2nd semi and slowed down and didn't complete the pass. I disagree with all the people that say that he should have slowed down to let the camaro in when he first tried to pass him. People who pass on the right and try to force themselves in should not be rewarded by letting them get there way. They can wait in line like everyone else. There was not room there to squeeze in. This causes all kinds of accidents and I see it almost every day. I would not have let him in front of me either... but then I would have passed the semi and moved over, and then let the idiot do whatever he wanted.
