Looking to purchase a '16-'17 C7. Best prices seen new?

hey everybody. looking to purchase a 16-17 c7 in the very near future

looking for a red one, red seats would be a plus, but black is fine.

been doing alot of researching and seeing them as low as 45-46k brand new! how cheap have you guys seen or gotten yours brand new?

any major issues known with the corvettes? how are they relaible wise, will i get 100k or more miles out of it without having to put another 50 grand into it? are they expensive to matience or maitain? moneys not an issue but at the same time dont need a moneyp it. i plan on keeping this car forever like i am doing with my current car.

this will be my daily car, unless the weather is crap or raining, then i will be using my g35 coupe.

also can somebody link me to a post or forum that disscuses bolt ons?

thanks all!

I picked up a 16 recently, great deals at yr end. I went with a 1LT (heated seats are useless to me on my summer only car), but went for the Z51 option plus mag ride/PTM, M7. I also plan on hanging on to it for years to come and heard many kick themselves for not at least checking off the z51 option(google or YouTube, you'll see all the features the z51 offers). I also highly recommend mag ride the tour/sport/track modes are incredible, the weather and eco modes..meh. I spend lots of time reviewing on the vette forums and really haven't heard any cost complaints on the C7. Good luck with your decision

yeah the z51 seems nice but thats also another what 4-6 grand more haha. im trying to stay under 50k out the door w/ every single type of fee paid for including taxes and what not. any higher and id probably just go find a used 2012 GTR black edition for 60 grand. but dont want to spend that much.

seeing as how as this is your daily driver, don't get one with the Z51 package. This is unless you plan on tracking the car. OF NOT, by getting one WITHOUT the Z51 package will do a couple of things for you. #1..it will get a fair amount better gas mileage (my daily driver NON-Z51 '15' averaged 28-29 mpg, I do a lot of highway driving), my new '17' Z51 daily driver only gets 25-26 mpg. #2..Cheeper to maintain. A NON-Z51 car only uses 6 qt's (plus oil filter) at an oil change, the Z51 car needs 10 qt's (actually only 9.5 qts ones in) and the filter.

as far as reliability goes.....I put 43000 miles on my '15' in a year and 8 months.....the ONLY thing I ever needed to do was have to oil/filter changed. I had a new set of tires put on at 41000.

I just picked up a 2014 Z51 with 12,700 miles for $48,700 that is well optioned, even got the glass roof, this car is awesome, I have a 2010 Camaro 2SS that has 526hp and the vetted seems just as strong, can't wait to drive it on a nice day
