LT1 HP seems it is going to be 465HP

I found the dyno graph online..
I read the whole SAE article which had no mention I could find of HP
calculating by graph and using LS3 known 430HP

Now if this is without the dual mode performance exhaust it can be 472HP if you add in the 6HP (4.5kW) gain the dual mode exhaust gave the 2013 model.

I just going by SAE's graph what they show.. just dont know if that is with or without dual mode performance exhaust
Im not worry about the intial power numbers except for bragging rights.. i just hope it mods well. i want to supercharger and add headers like I do to all my cars..

curious if my whipple or vortech i have at home will fit this Stingray..

make perfect business sense. if you're spending money at a tuner company; that means your not spending it on a ZR1...

I think it should come in something like this: Ford = 5.0 = 420 hp, Stingray 6.2 = 521 hp! And Ford is doing it without direct injection.

they pick HP numbers they shoot for and give themselves room to grow..
im sure if they wanted they could tune it and lose some TQ down low and make 600HP with the engine revving it high..
personally i think it should be 475HP with out that exhaust upgrade

then when they come out with Z06 rework old LS7 to these gen v upgrades for 550HP
ZR1 should get a bump to 650HP

then camaro will be 475HP when it gets this LT1 putting it on top of mustang for awhile.
The ZL1 needs to get the ZR1 engine so it matches the GT500

but they a business and im sure all they looking at is cost to profit ratios. theyd rather make 50 million a year on a car slower then competition then make 10 million a year on a faster car lol

We were going off of estimates we had received from our sources at GM. The engineering department seems to be touting a tad higher figure than the marketing department, which just means they'll be sandbagging the power a tad as usual with the LS.....LT based stuff.

I'm going to have to get used to saying LT. Weird.
