90k for a ZL1 with black paint and some graphics.

GM doesn't deserve the camaro. People will buy this, and more power to them, but sheeeezusss. I really hate GM these days.

Edit to say, matte black paint has to be the absolute worst for keeping clean. This is a true collectors car, you drive it to and from the detailer. LOL

Actually, that price is for the ZL1 with the Black Gucci watch package. The ZL1 1LE remains unmolested, and yes good call on getting your car. I’m right there with you!

I had ( have until 6/15 cutoff) a Rapid ZLE ordered, didn't hold my breath and there will probably be close to zero 24 ZLE's built, so just snagged a Rapid 2SS1LE in transit to a local dealer,happy and will call it a day. Really wanted a Rapid, so figured now or never , no regrets, kept 30k in my pocket. America!

As someone mentioned earlier, now we know why there were such a limited number of ZL1 1LE cars built this past year...GM had to sandbag the parts stock for the special edition because they are hijacking the 1LE wing...I know there are a few gripes here and on IG about 'why not the LT5?!' and as was mentioned, that was sent to the trash heap a couple years ago. Unlike the Gen 5 Z/28, which benefited from GM having a C6 Z06 engine supply lying around doing nothing at BG, that's not the case here...I 'hear' a lot of clamoring for those type of cars (LT5) but the Z/28 was built in a quantity of 1801...they couldn't give those away! Think about what LT5 variant ZL1 would cost, we'd be looking at over 100k and GM execs are saying 'nope, not fooling us again Camaro team, btw, you've had no budget anyway for years, byeeeee!'

90k is kinda close to CT5-V Blackwing. Which could be ordered in black as well, lol. And that "package" gives you at least 18 more hp, nice digital dash with more info (as opposed to truck looking dash in Camaro), cameras 360 - so you don't ever scrape your splitter, and less irritating clutch
