Home and car looks like it needs a little TLC
I know I'm not the only one. Camarofest is about the people and their rides and how much fun you can have when you bring them together. But be honest, how many people got home and their car looks like it's been through hell and back...lol. For those that tracked at NCM, the autocross, or drags, or just the cruise through the countryside and back home. How many cars will get a good cleaning, oil change, transmission fluid change, brake fluid change, vacuumed, maybe even new tires, etc.
But in the end, it was all worth it and can't wait to do it again. Camarofest has some of the best people to be with and you get to meet some of the nicest people from all over the country, not to mention to some of their bada$$ rides. |

Glad you made it home safe. I really missed seeing everyone. I'll be there next year.

Actually, the car wasn't too bad until the ride home yesterday. 550 miles of rain and crappy northern roads has it looking pretty sad. I will need to power wash the underside to get rid of the stuck on road grit, wheels will come off for a complete cleaning of the barrels brake calipers, hubs, and the wheel wells, Then it will get a complete wash and detail of the exterior. Thankfully, the engine compartment and interior are pretty clean, just some minor cleaning there.
It was a great Camarofest. Would have liked a more dry experience traveling home, but it is all good. Just some cleaning to do.

The car made it pretty much unscathed. My tires, not so much! Since the last CF, I've been autocrossing, and it made a big difference in my driving at both, NCM and CamaroCross. I cooked my tires. My wife was not very happy about that. I told her it was the price for fun, and I did have fun
....and best of all, my good Camaro friends, are now better friends. Bill

Home and car looks like it needs a little TLC
Rain storms going to BG and coming home, tracking it Thursday it was filthy. Oh and spilling coffee on the way home (damn speedway cup/lid) Didn’t bother me until Sunday. It cleaned up well
