IS THE COPO CAR COMING BACK??
I just got a little bit of insider info that some of you might find interesting...GM is secretly getting ready to to put out a limited edition COPO CAMARO w/ the 427 aluminum block. I was told this by a close friend at GM. No word on when or how they will be allocated, but it sounds like it's going to happen. We were told that we will get at least one, but nothing as to how or when. Has anybody else heard this yet?

He's my GM rep. He verified what my GM found out from our rep's boss, so it came directly from GM.

hmmmm, a 7 litre aluminum block...maybe its the crate engine version of the Z-28? You can buy a crated LS9...

Hmmmmm....
No idea if what you say is true... We haven't heard anything like a COPO option from GM.... Be interesting to see if they do that. Obviously Dealers are modding cars with aftermarket product like Yenko did for the first gen cars using GM performance products... But not the same as a COPO car.
