does the camaro even come with a power passenger seat? and the mustang doesn't need the 3.55 gears to be comparable because it already has more aggressive gearing in the transmission.

If you have to add the 3.55's, then you're going to have to come up with some option on the camaro that will add an aggressively geared transmission to have a more apples to apples comparison. good luck with that one.

So Ford makes a car called a Mustang?

That's cool.

I think you're mistaken, however this video is for the Corvette LS3 Grand Sport. Should be the same basic design though...if they can shove the dry sump in the Vette, it will fit in the Camaro.

Why are we so interested in making the two cars price out identically? They are different cars. Is the argument that the Mustang is too expensive to be compared to the Camaro? I'm not sure I'm following...

The only credible run in the GT for the mustang fan is a 12.7. THe only credible runs in thr GT for the camaro fan is obviously going to be the slower ones. This is just the way of the world.
Is your sole purpose on this website only to argue about how good the mustang is? That is the only thing I ever see you doing.

Go get a mustang and register on stangnet or something if you love them so much. I just dont know why so many of you mustang guys waste your time here. It is worse on this website than any other GM based board I have been on.

Must be a lot of people are jealous/worried/angry in some way based on the camaro's performance/price/looks/sales success or any combination of the above. Their is also the immaturity factor as well.

Only the ls3 in the grand sport has the dry sump system. It is off of the z06. The ls3 in the grand sport is also hand built. The ls3 in the regular c6 and camaro are machine built and wet sump design 8.4 qts

Maybe the "Car and Driver" from Nigeria?

This Car and Driver says the Mustang came first:

Why is everything BS when it disagrees with you? (not you per se, but the number of people saying BS to the reviews as if it's some sort of conspiracy theory)

I think universally, all professional reviewers rate the 2011 Mustang as the preferred choice. So they are all in cahoots are they?

I wish Camaro people were just a bit more open-minded and a bit more objective. Love your Camaros for what they are, but don't overlook the fact that improvements can and should be made. Constructive criticism and baseline comparisons are important for achieving continuous improvement.

This is really getting silly now. However I am still going to play along. I'm not sure if you guy's realize that the shaker 500 has subs as well so there is no need to add the shaker 1000 to this sillyness.
