Mark Martin Wins!!! Eat your heart out Ford boys

What a race!!! Chevy outlasted the field in gas mileage.

Chevy is dominating. Times are tough right now for GM and Chevy but there is a glimmer of hope. Plus Mark Martin is a class act who deserves this. And kudos to Jeff Gordon coming in second. Chevy 1 - 2.

Then we had the Corvette C6R win at Le Mans. It's a gutsy move to drop into the GT2 field for next years 24 Hours of Lemans. Maybe Ford with all their bravado will campaign the Mustang.

I loved NASCAR during the 80's, but the series went through a pretty rapid decline in the early 90's and I haven't been able to bring myself to care for some time now. Mark Martin is a class act though, congrats to him on a very good season.

That was definitely a cool ending. I was in the garage working under the Firebird on the lift and it's one of those where the TV is on the background but you're not really watching until the last 10 minutes. Biffle ahead, then Johnson passes, then Johnson runs out of gas, then Biffle runs out of gas, then Mark Martin wins. Good for him and Chevy.

Johnson ran out of gas two weeks in a row now, ugh! Congrats to Martin and Gordon for finishing 1-2.
