New upgrade to Challenger compare to ZL1?

It is pretty bad when you have to mod a Challeger and then compare it to a stock ZL1!

While I agree, however the 2013 SRT8 392 is about $10,000 cheaper.

the platform is? It was released in 2008, in 2011 they changed the engine with the new 6.4L and then in 2012 they added active dampening suspension.

and that hideous Green with Envy car in the picture is a 2011.

You could then say the ZL1 is 4 years old because the Gen 5 came out in 10. The SRT8 392 was released in 11 and the ZL1 was released in 12.

Its a 13 unless they labeled it wrong.

According to the Dodge website the 2013 isn't available in Green.

They must have messed up, if you look at the dyno video on top it says 2013!

So the zl1 needs a roto fab cai to produce more HP at the wheels than the HPE 650 Challenger. Wow, that's impressive. lol

That's what I was thinking. There are stock dyno's in the sticky thread that put up more torque than it and only ~10 less hp. Must be a huge drive train loss, or they need a different dyno.

The day Ford takes the Mustang and Dodge takes the Challenger to the ring then we can talk. Since day one Chevy has been referring the ZL1 as more of a track car than a drag car. While it takes SOME skill, it doesnt take a genius to keep the wheels straight. Chevy has decided who to compete with and looking at the list of top 100 at the Ring, wheres the Mustang ....Challenger....
