Yeah and the new CTS' rear end wasn't outstanding... Not awful, but the rest of that car is so amazing and the rear was just kinda bland... Kinda the same here looks like.

It seems like Scott was indicating that only the SS was getting this.

On the Euro rear, did the pics show no reverse light holes?

I think they are incorporated into the tail lights now, the rear pics are so undefined I think that aspect was lost. We need high def pictures.

Change is inevitable - I kind of like the front end, not a fan of the euro-effects in the rear. I can see it makes sense from a production standpoint to make the North American and European all the same.
I like the functioning vent vs the mail slot, but they could have given it a bit more style. It looks like a toilet seat on the hood.
I'll keep mine but I'm sure lots of folks will be buying the new gen 5.5

Hmmmm would they take an automatic and have now a button that disables AFM to get 426 HP? This could be the performance enhancement? Would they reveal a TTv6 and call it the Z28? Or LS1....

I Like It! I'm glad it wasn't a total re-do. Still looks great with some refinements. The rear license plate area looks too deep for my taste.

I am guessing the Performance enhancements were the aero tweaks with the narrower grill, air extractor. And redesigned rear spoiler... Just my guess.

Disabling AFM would not give it an extra 26hp. My guess is he spoke wrong anyway.

No holes, built into the tail lights.

Yeah the new CTS rear isnt as great as the rest of the car, but at least its not a total eye sore IMO. It's like they get lazy when it comes to rear of the new cars

..woke up to find the 'nightmare' reveal was a reality. And to sum it up:
1) the 'refresh' look is 'messed up'
2) whoever designed the refresh 'messed it up'
3) whoever approved the refresh 'messed up'
4) whoever allowed the refresh to leak on a talk show 'messed up'
5) if that frail talk show host were to fall, she'd be 'messed up'

key note: 'messed up' interchangeable w/ 'f*cked up'
