thanks guys! interestingly, i never bought a new one initially, i bought a used camaro. it was identical to this one, but it had 7K miles one. when i bought my 2013 camaro used the dealership said they wanted the car back and that i couldnt keep it because the previous owner bought it via credit fraud, so the bank owned the car at the point of sale.
they tried to sell me a new one at the same price, but since my "used" camaro only had 7K miles, i demanded more money off and got it. ended up getting a brand new 2013 2LT RS for 3K less than i bought the used one for. the funny thing about the whole situation is that because i held the keys to a camaro that i, nor the dealership actually owned, i had a lot of leverage, since i didnt hand my keys over until i had the deal i wanted. the dealership actually found an identical 2013 2LT RS for me, but there was no way i was going to re-buy a car without some kind of extra discount since i had to go through the trouble of canceling the loan and basically voiding the original sale of the used camaro. in the end i wound up with a brand new camaro for less than a slightly used one, and this one has polished wheels and an embroidered center console lid. |
