I'm selling my car and getting an 06 Goat. LS2, 6 speed, and can walk a stock SS with a few bolt ons. You can find them with decent mileage still. Just a thought!

Hell no to S/C or turboing the six! Those kits are way too overpriced for me! Not worth it! Get the SS!

The LLT/LFX are well built engines.
Yes they are. Thanks for the education. I still advise OP to save his money and wait until Spring. Then do a thorough search for what he really wants and he will probably be able to find it.

I agree, both options should be on the table. One thing though, gas mileage will drop in the V6 after a supercharger, extra drag on the engine. Mine averages 19.3 while my V8 averages 21, same drive to work.

Listen to a V8 with a Borla exhaust, makes each drive enjoyable.

Honestly if you're gonna go FI with the V6 then go Twin Turbo. I've heard they are crazy fast, and you're still almost 10k under an SS with the TT if you have a 1LS

How is that overpriced? 7k for a TT that would smoke the SS? 500+ to the wheels.

I'll definitely see my financial situation when the time comes. If a zl1 is within my price range of definitely be going for one. It's still a ways away and I've got plenty of time to bank some cash.

There ya go - good plan. And good luck. Now go shovel your driveway!!!!!

I feel your pain coming soon. I grew up in the Syracuse area. Escaped when I was 25. I don't miss snow AT ALL! (I do miss the beautiful of Fall though)

Snow hasn't come yet! Soon though for sure. I hate the snow, wish it was nice all year round!

An add on question here and want some thoughts. If lets say I decide to go for a v8 would it be easier to just buy one that's already been supercharged with supporting mods already built in?

Word of advice, never buy a used car that's been boosted aftermarket.
