Not Looking Good for a 2014

Well, Like I said it's not looking good for a 2014. We started this roller coaster ride back in late October when my allocation became available. Low and behold came the infamous Z51 constraint. Dealer had to submit another order so they wouldn't lose their allocation and they got what they ordered. Since then they have received 4 more allocations and with my Z51 option I got passed over every time.
I went to my dealership last week to talk to the sales manager who is also a very dear friend and explained my dilemma with the order being placed prior to the price increase and them not likely to get another allocation before the 2014 production end which would end up costing me $$$.
He knew I could have went elsewhere and our C7 would be sitting in the driveway but I stayed loyal. Well it's looking like that loyalty might pay off. They're saying if the 2014 order doesn't get picked up and I have to reorder as a 2015 they will deduct the price increase from MSRP and that's what I'll pay for it.
Either way I'll be happy I stayed loyal.

" . . . roller coaster ride . . . " great term! I love it!

Good for you for understanding the system.

Well the day is finally here. My order was picked up yesterday and is at 3000 today. I believe this calls for a celebration

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

If you're a Veteran, you qualify for GM's Supplier Pricing so you'll save even more money.

I'm a Veteran and work for a GM Supplier and I saved over $6k on my C7.

I didn't get a double discount, it's just the mark-up on the C7's is that much.

No Veteran discount available when I ordered my C7 last December. I probably would not have waited to order even if I knew there would be a Veteran discount at some point. I didn't want to run into the price hike.
Another "thank you" for your service here in MA, the Registry charges an extra $40 for a standard Veteran plate. I pay $50 for my regular plate and $90 for my Veteran plate. And so it goes................

Here in Iowa they charged me $35 extra for the Veteran's plates to get them and an extra $5 a year to keep them.

Bleed for this country and they try to bleed you for more.

America, the only country in the world who punishes their Veterans.
