They just need to move production of the SS and the UTE over here. I bet they could find a plant to build them in.

I'd buy that truck in a heartbeat. To me the only similarity between that front end and the Edge you is the headlights....nothing else. The headlights is not what I dislike about the Edge...its the huge grille so no foul there in my eyes.

Also, I feel that rendering looks better than the current Colorado, as well as Frontier and Tacoma, and I wouldn't be cross shopping with full size trucks so again another reason why I'd buy it. I'm not super excited about the headlight design, but the grille and lower front look excellent to me. It beats the hell out of the other global version that is for sure.

Of course, this rendering is likely not 100% accurate, but based on the GM teaser shot and spy shots I'm betting it is close.

Also, there is always the GMC Canyon which you may like if you don't like this one.

IDK, to me it does resemble the edge front just a different bumper; I sure hope GM gets this thing right..

I really like that rendering oo. my hope is that it is priced far enough under the fullsize trucks with enough of an MPG gain to make it worth it and viable. I am certainly not a huge fan of the Tacoma, but considering you can get a regular cab 2wd for around 18k and a 4x4 for under 22k is a major thing and seriously undercuts the fullsize trucks. the Colorado/Canyon need to do this too.

My biggest concern with the new midsizes is the interior.

Because this works overseas:

Yeah, that's not good. I am guessing we will get something akin to the new fullsize trucks.

I'd be very surprised if they went through all the trouble of reskinning the outside & then left the interior basically untouched.

Chevrolet is recalling 18,941 Camaro models in the United States due to airbag warning stickers on the sun visors that may peel off. This might not seem like a big deal, but, as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration puts it, "If the airbag warning label detaches from the visor, the driver and front seat passenger may not be warned of the risks of airbag deployment, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash."

And I'm sure GM's initial response to NHTSA was .

I've never quite understood the purpose of those stickers. Are there people out there who claim that they would never have gotten into a serious accident had they known they might get injured by the airbag?

I can't wrench my neck back that far to be able to read them anyway. Hell I can't even tell when the light has changed without looking through the sunroof!
