Just say 'no' - there are Camaros out there in inventory and dealers are pleased to deal - remember -- it's December -- NOW is the time to buy -- the demand will go back up in March --

My market adjusment price is as follows,

Loaded 2SS Auto 38,500.00
Less 2000.00 dealer Discount
Less 2500.00 Factory rebate
Less 2000.00 Customer loyalty cash

Market Adjusted price = 32,500.00 plus tax and lisc. no other bullshit fees.
This is what it will take to get me into a new one. It's all the car is worth to me.
Not today but we may see deals like this next summer or fall.

I feel like if dealers are telling customer that GM is adding this mark up on the cars, someone in GM needs to hear about this. At the very least it's being dishonest.

That would be like if I had a McDonald's franchise and increased the price of the Big Mac by a $1 and said that "Corporate raised the price of Big Macs". Somehow I doubt McDonald's HQ would appreciate that and I might lose my franchise because of it.

What!!! A car salesperson being dishonest???? What is this world coming to.

It's sad but reality is honest sales staff in most businesses are the exception, not the rule. The way most of their salaries and bonuses are calculated encourge it. And most sales maneger are the worst offenders as they promote most of the dishonest tactics used.
I don't want to offend anyone on the forum that sells cars. Those of you who are honest
congrats, you are rare in the industry.

Thanks
B.S. GM sets the MSRP and that's it. They are trying to shift the blame. Find someone who sells for MSRP even if you have to drive a bit.
