Love me some Camaro's!
|
I like my K&N air charger and slp longtube headers with slp loudmouth 1 axle back exhaust. Some people dont like these at all, but its what I wanted. Most people tell you its a matter of what you want. This is what I wanted and got it. So do some research and get what you want. No need to argue. All CAI's are better on a Camaro than on a Mustang, right? haha

I am really pleased with my setup! Sounds like I am in a stock car when near a wall on the track and with relatively minor bolt-ons it is a blast. I am a believer in letting the motor breath and didn't want to go with a taller hood. Hard enough to see out of the one I have with the low roof.

I was checking out K&N 69-4519TP Polished Performance Intake Kit which promises 18.12 HP increase. Is that false advertisement?

If only want a intake for gains, don't get one. I enjoyed the sound of the intake over the gains which i never noticed.
now if you are tuning, its different story. |

12hp gain sounds pretty good for $250.
I have a feeling I'll get flamed for this but to be honest, what interests me is the mpg gain. I also heard that its better for the engine in long run. Having a V8, not sure how much of performance increase it would be at 12 or even at 18 additional hp. |
