Not the way I see it in the video... Truck was in the same lane and did not turn or slow down.

Actually, that is not correct. In some states the law says that if you exceed the speed limit by a great enough amount (usually 15+ mph) then the fault would be yours regardless. Can't grossly exceed the speed limit and be deemed "not a fault". It is a lot easier to see a car and react to it going the speed limit than a car doubling it. Ask me how I know, I'm still sore from it...

2 trucks, the one that hit him wasn't in the turn lane I don't think.

The truck that was in the turning lane stayed there..the op didn't yield to oncoming traffic. He just turned to quickly. Maybe this guy will get an SS.

if its a fender bender (people rear ending my trailer at 3 mph) i get out like the guy in the truck yelling if it is serious (got tboned by a drunk driver i was stopped he was doing 60+ in a 35) i got out and made sure he was fine. the guy in the truck was a dick for not checking you were ok, then yelling at you.

Sorry about the car but more sorry you had to deal with a d-bag like that. First thing i thought as another poster pointed out it seemed like he saw the camera and did a 180

That is a troll post, it copy's other posts and reposts them. The screen name is always a bunch of random letters, always drives a ford. Usually no more than 4 posts to a screen name, all made within a few minutes.

That sucked man. I don't know, but I've been involved in my share of accidents over the years and I can honestly say that not once, either my fault or the other drivers fault was there any reactions like that guy had. What a total dipstick. Did he ever get a chance to see the dash cam? I'd love to see his reaction! Usually it takes some time for everything to sink in before you realize what actually just happened. Either this guy isn't human (Terminator?) or he is emotionless, lmao!! Glad to see everyone was alright!

Sorry to see the wreck, but what dash cam do you have? It was very clear for night time.

Maybe a V8 will get out of the way faster.

Seriously though, Don57, I'm glad everyone was okay. I'm also glad you seem to realize that you really screwed up and (hopefully) will drive more intelligently in future situations where you cannot see oncoming lanes. Rookie mistake that really could have seriously hurt some people.

I don't blame the guy at all for being pissed and cussing you out. I'm sure he was a little in shock and it was just a defensive reaction to an unnecessary experience. Please be more careful!
