Responsible gun owners should be banding together, not telling each other that they put an unpopular person in a position of power.

I am from Massachusetts. If you think that means everyone here approves of a liberal mindset, that's as stupid as saying everyone from Texas is a cowboy.

I'd appreciate it if we could lay off the nonsense.

Prior to last summer, you had the Vegas area only blue card handgun registration and the 3-day wait was for those who did not yet have the blue card.

The blue cards and their associated BS are gone now thanks to the 2015 legislature and signed by the Gov.

Welcome to the rest of Nevada!

CZ75 clones are a recent favorite of mine. Bought a used imported iwi fordirtcheap. Liked it so much I bought a new eaaTanfoglio Hunter in 10mm.

10mm is awesome but I hate to recommend it as an edc because I think it would penetrate and keep going.

If you don't have a 1911 you're missing out. There's a reason why they're still popular after over 100 yrs. Just ask SS Blinder lol

Probably opening a can of worms here. But, they (1911's) are a classic beautiful design and I could see one being my first handgun.

Any maker suggestions? I was looking at Springfield Arms and the prices are in line with most other well rated handguns.

I've always wanted a .357 revolver with a 4" barrel. A nice .357 cost just as much as a 1911.

Edit: really liking the looks of this one. @ $1000 it's not unreasonably expensive but is my absolute ceiling that I'd spend for a handgun.

Funny you say that. Here's what I've been looking hard at in the Kimber line.

I think you just told yourself what to get... The most dependable pistol you'll ever own is a wheel gun. Colt or sw don't matter. As long as it's colt. No. Sw. ...wait...

My edc is a kimber ultrA carry 2. I love it but she's not a dirty girl. Keep her clean and she runs like a Swiss watch.

Nice price on an entry level kimber, it's easier for me to edc a $750 pistol than a $1500 pistol. But then it's pretty cool to see the high dollar pistol ring the 24" plate at 200 yds. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=541195241

Oh yeah the Sig 1911... Sig doesn't make a bad pistol that I'm aware of, but that tac rail does two things on a full size 1911. It makes the recoil feel buttery smooth, and when holstered it makes your pants fall off... Cuz that's one heavy pistol!

I'd take that Sig without tac rail all day any day. But yeah, a steel 5" 1911, tac rail or no, is a lot of weight to carry. If you edc it consider a belt upgrade as well.

What belts are you edc guys using? I've had a 511 tactical for a few years but it's lost some of its original stiffness.

That's a sweet discount! Are you buying to carry? Or target/compete? The team sport will always be a more valuable pistol than the ultra carry, and I would edc it in a heart beat. But the weight and size difference will be noticable.

The ultra carry is aluminum frame, along with the shorter barrel/slide, and with a decent holster is pretty forgettable on your side. By FAR my favorite edc, but not my favorite pistol.

You probably won't forget that team sport is on your side, but if I had to poke an eye out at 10 yards give me the long barrel.

My tanfoglio will shoot quarters at 50 feet, and you feel the quality in the build by just handling it. But when it's on my hip it lets me know it. I would hate to edc it. Having said that, it's my favorite pistol owned.

Unloaded
Kimber ultra carry 25 oz
Kimber team sport 38 oz

Almost a pound heavier. Don't sound like much but it's 33% more weight

Edc, get an aluminum frame. Comp gun get the big gal. But that's just me.
