Cool! I guess we will have to give 'ol RS enough notice to make time to play with us. It would be too cool to run the 1/4 one day and Sandia the next.

I hope Sukie likes running her car on Friday, I would love to mod that Caddie for her!

But I owe a big Thank You to Pete.. his suggestions and giving me the opportunity to run at the C5fest have helped get me dialed in a lot quicker... probably cut off more than 3 months of adjustments/trial and error time.

I still have more to learn. I need to fine tune my driving skills some more - I think that is going to help going forward. There probably isn't too much left in adjustments in the car going forward to make it faster, other than removing weight.

It is really cool to finally be within a few thousandths against the other prepared cars.

I am going to need to capture video from the next AutoX sessions, so you guys can see how much faster the car has become.
Dan,

You built the car and you drive the car we are proud to be a small part of it.

Hey like I've said before. In the car modding business it seems that the good shops and manufactures tend to work together. When the "Best" get together amazing things happen!

I am going to try to get mine into the top ten in the 1/4. Then it will be on to the autocross to try to get good enough to win there. I always wanted to take this car and turn it into something that could do it "all" very well.
I need to fly out and enroll in the ultra exclusive Dan's School of Driving for the autocross part.

Hey Guys, my run last Sunday just made the top ten in the 1/8 mile!!
I know there is a lot left in her, it should be able to get into the low 10's in the 1/4.

Hey Dan, there is a point where God given talent takes over and surpasses average....you my friend have reached that point! Anyone can work really hard, practice and become good. Only a few gifted people are able to go beyond good and achieve greatness. You are throwing a rear wheel drive pig around the track and beating better cars.
Just keep having FUN!!

Mike, Too bad you aren't up here...

It's 60-70 degrees during the day, and New England Dragway usually gets the DA into the negatives at night time (it's at 520' sea level) .

It will be 45-50 degrees Friday night... Purrfect weather for those really low Time slips at the drags!
