Much better front end than the 1998-02 refresh.

I wish the refresh had done away with those retarded fender extensions that didn’t even line up with the mirrors correctly.

Same happened to me. Took the guy 7 days, down to the HOUR for him to total it on the track. I told him, give it some time, the car is a handful. Guess he figured a week was enough wait.

My 2004 Mustang GT. I loved that car, never thought I would get rid of it. Had a chance to jump into a S197 and took it. After about a year of owning the S197, despite it being a better car in every way just never felt as connected to it as my 04

the car I learned to drive in was my Mom's '72 Mustang with a 351 Cleveland - more motor than that car could really handle

I regret selling my 1965 Red Mustang. Factory 4-speed, black interior, Tiger Paws. Bought if off the second owner for 900.00 in 1974. Funny to think it was only 9 years old.

It seems 8-10 years old is the sweet spot for finding a good selection of vehicles in prime condition at the lowest prices.

I miss getting rid of my first Camaro, a 94 Z28 with eibach springs, niche three piece wheels, edelbrock intake manifold, headers, flowmasters, and a 150 shot of nitrous, those were the fun days.

Like some of the others, I wish I would have never gotten rid of my first Camaro, a '79 Z/28 I bought in '86. I drove the heck out of that thing but about a year after I bought it, I joined the Air Force. You can't have your car in basic training and not really in tech school either. Since I wasn't going to be driving it for 12 months I let my younger sister drive it. Long story short, she drove it with no oil so the engine froze up. Rather than try to get it fixed, I sold it to her for next to nothing.

As much as I love my '14 SS, I really miss that car. I've been wanting to buy one for a while but they're back in vogue now so you either get a roller that's all beat up or pay > $15k for one that someone's fixed up. I don't have the time to build a car and I don't really want to pay that much for a nearly 40 year old car.
