I can't figure out what your post has to do with my quoted post.

However, "Auto vs. Stick" is always going to be a debate amongst the folks who need to make themselves feel better about their decision.

If you're a quarter-mile bracket racing warrior, an automatic will always be the "better" choice to give you the most consistent times. Manual will always be more "fun" to drive, except maybe in bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic

Regardless, though, there's no reason to put another person down for their transmission choice. That's one of the reasons I don't even bother opening up any more of those auto-vs-manual threads on Camaro5 anymore. Those threads are like flypaper for the annoying and uneducated.
