I beg to differ, anything pre-1974 is Heritage.. After 1974 and the EPA regulations started, yeah I agree..

and Bon Jovi's career started in 1975 so he qualifies as a post-1974 waste....

they do not look like a flucking honda rust bucket ricer... They are GM heritage from the 1970s and if you don't get that then you need to go to the prelude forums and stay there.

GM is trying to create a heritage retro style with a modern flare, doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that, and if you don't like it, well to each their own, but stop flaunting your ignorance to the heritage of these cars.
Now im not trying to burst your bubble at all. And I do agree with everything you are saying except the part about it not looking like a honda prelude rear end. I completely agree and can easily see the resemblence between the 14 and 70s tail lights, BUT the 14 rear end also happens to resemble the prelude rear end. (when i say rear end i mean the upper half of the rear ends) I am not trying to start an argument or anything because I agree with you, but i dont think you can deny that the prelude and 14 rear ends dont look alike.

Have any of you folks that are so adamant that the style is copied from Honda ever considered the possibility that Honda copied it from the early year Camaros?

I think it's just ludicrous to think the GM/Chevy designer's were all sitting in their designing room and trying to come up with an idea for the Z/28 back end treatment, all of them stumped, sitting there for days on end...then a '96 Honda Prelude drives by their window and one guy looks at it and says "Bingo, I've got it"......

...so are the Preludes gonna increase Camaro sales? or is the Camaro gonna increase Prelude sales?....or maybe customers won't care which car they buy because the tail-lights might look similar?....Is that how it works?

Do they care about the other 99.99% of the car? or do they just shop for tail-lights and not worry about the rest of the car?
