Many years ago if you wanted headers you were stuck with either the top brands or bottom shelf stuff that didn't fit well and required lots of fabbing. About 10 years ago that is kinda how things were. 5-8 years ago some of the bottom shelf companies improved and became middle of the road brands and the fitment, quality, and performance was a real bargain. But the no-name brand stuff (Ebay "Speed Pro" and other cheap $200 headers) was questionable. Some people got away with them while others had horrible luck. These days the middle of the road brands which used to be bottom shelf are now soo good that they can compete with the top brands. Overall quality and detail always goes to the top brands. But companies like TSP, OBX, Maximizer (OBX off-brand, lol), SP, andothers have very good products at sometimes half the price. I always tell people that if they want the absolute best and money is no object then go with Kooks, ARH, SW, etc. If you don't care to spend that much then go with OBX, TSP, SP, etc. And if you're really looking for the cheapest headers out there then go with the no-name-brand Ebay stuff. Because these days even those headers are a pretty good deal and have very decent quality and fitment. You can't really go wrong with any brand you pick these days.
