Here is a shot of my mutts! The little one had a hip replacement last spring because of hip displasia (sp?). Doing just great now. But she doesn't get to ride in the car.

I've got to get 'em both in to the Vet pretty soon, so they'll be getting weighed then. However she is coming in around 120 and him around 70 pounds.

Even though she really is stronger and more powerful than he is, he uses his strength more. He routinely takes her down...he's relentless! Even in tug of war, he almost always wins.

Part of it I'm sure, is because she's just having fun. I know what a Bullmastiff can bring to the table, I've been bit by a few of 'em! So when things start getting a little too rough (they're really good about this though) I do step in and cool the situation down. They're both good about this and never question my authority.

She was his best dog friend, so when her owner died, I just had to take her.

I've got thousands of pictures, let me find a few decent wrestling ones to put up. They may look like they're fighting, but it's all play. They really do get along great with each other!!!

(Oh, it's funny, but there are times he does draw a bead on her tail, and drag her down that way!!!)

Put the little one up front so at least he/she can see where it's going!

I can't remember how many times I had to pull my boxer out of the pool when he was a puppy!

He swims like a "rock"!!

I can't decide if the first one is a nah nah na na nahh nah... or holy s$%&^, here she comes... :-)

Satchmo has several friends around the neighborhood as well...Some of them he plays well with, some of them he watches... The ones that want to run and run and run, well, he'll chase them for a minute then stand in one spot and let them run by him... He funniest to watch with the little bitty dogs though... His front legs stretched out and his head flat on the ground, hind quarters sticking straight up, and his tail going ninety to nothing.

It's all about keep away! He's got it and wants her to try to take it away. (though he really doesn't want to give it up)

You should have seen him in the dog park one time when he took a squirrel as he was running the permitter of the fence line tying to cut it off before it made it to safety. Once he got it, he ran all over that damn park showing it off to EVERY OTHER DOG in there. When he was through doing that, he brought it over and threw it at me feet! Then he picked it back up and threw it again...and again...and again! Then I placed it outside the fence a ways...some bird came and got it within the hour. (At least it didn't go to waste.)
