Doing some math if the car weighs 3,550 pounds and packs 550BHP that would get you to 6.46 pounds per horsepower (if that is what they were stating). If they stick with the 500BHP LS7 then the weight would have to be too low (IMHO) to get to 6.46 pounds per horsepower.
3,550 pounds and 550BHP would certainly get you to 100KMPH in under 4 seconds that is for sure. |

I am still holding out hope for a Gen V 7.0 w/ DI. We have the Gen V LS3 successor, now we need the LS7.

Yup...and someone else reported that HP was the internal code for ZL1 too.
Whatever they call it...the car with drastic changes to front clip and hood in theses videos has very apparent supercharge whine, most likely LT4 and most likely 640 to 650HP. What it isn't is an NA motor with 500 something HP.

Seems like it would be a grenade with the thin cylinder walls and aggravate the valve guide issue on the LS7. They would be dropping valves like it was going out of fashion.

The z/28 was for the Camaro diehards and to showcase what the Camaro team was capable of. It wasn't about competition. They knew it was at best a 2 year run to raise the bar and put the other manufacturers on notice. Now Ford has responded. I think the Camaro will focus on the dominance established there before trying to battle the Hellcat. They know it's notoriety was only in a straight line. Based solely on horsepower. A game best played by the aftermarket. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The area on the front bumper with the lower side air/brake ducts will look similar to the Jaguar F-Type front bumper.

So glad I'm forcing myself to wait on pulling the trigger on a 6th gen. After all, I have a pretty awesome ride until then. Cait wait to see more about this car.
