We had rain last night and it rained off and on today with a high temp of 64 degrees. Some pretty severe thunderstorms came through West Michigan today as well. Temp dropped down into the low 50's. Some areas got hit pretty hard. I heard some areas of Illinois were hit as well. Hope everyone that was affected are ok.

That storm system you had in Michigan is headed my way. It's supposed to get here between 9-11 PM. I went out and filled up my truck and a couple of gas cans in case I need to break out the generator.

Made my son wash his car with my guidance. I think he enjoyed it after a while. Trying to teach him car about maintenance.

We were just under a Tornado warning but there wasn't much but heavy rain & a little wind at my house.

Thanks. I do too. I hate having a sore throat. It makes doing my job really hard as I basicly talk for a living. LOL

Good morning. I'm still miserable. I seriously considered staying in bed & calling in sick to work but I can be miserable there as well as I can here. I'm not running a fever and it is such a pain in the butt to try to reschedule all those clients. And it is exercize class day. I doubt I'll be running very fast today but I can do what I can. Well, just as I typed that, I started coughing & it is sounding pretty bad. I had not been coughing until now. I'll see how I feel after my shower. May need to rethink that. Anyway, have a good Monday crew.

Edit: Yep, decided to stay home.

My sweet bunny knows I don't feel well & is being extra lovey dovey.

Hi all,

I haven't posted anything in here in quite a while but this I wanted to share.

After having 1 summer off work since I was 14, I'm hanging it up. Friday 11/29 will be my last day of gainfull employment.

Early retirement has always been a goal and now it will be a reality. I had originally planned to retire in 2010 so it's a little late coming, but I got there.

Now I have time for the important things, fishing, racing... I honestly don't know if I'm more excited or scared. I'm not sure I know how to be retired but I'm gonna give it my best shot.

Jan, that is a great shot of your bunny !! We use to have one when the kids were little. That thing use to love to eat "Captain Crunch".

We survived the storm without much wind damage. Some of my fellow Illinoisans did not do as well. Washington Illinois was hit pretty hard.

Congrats on retirement! I am jealous. Retirement is 6 or 7 years (depending on the economy) away for me and I am sure counting down the days. Enjoy!

Yep, Bunnies are junk food junkies but it is terribly bad for them (as it is for us).
